Hydraulic & Pneumatic Seals

Fluid Power Sealing Solutions: Engineered for Precision and Durability

We supply a comprehensive range of high-performance hydraulic and pneumatic seals designed to maintain absolute system integrity.

Whether you are dealing with high-pressure fluid power systems or precision pneumatic cylinders, choosing the right sealing profile is critical to preventing leakage and extending equipment lifespan.

Below is an overview of our core sealing profiles and their specific applications within a cylinder system.

Rod Seals

The rod seal is arguably the most critical component in any fluid power system.

  • Installation & Function: Installed on the inner cylinder head, it acts as the primary dynamic barrier, preventing fluid from leaking outward from the cylinder into the environment.

  • Application: Essential for maintaining system pressure and preventing environmental contamination in heavy-duty hydraulic cylinders, excavators, and industrial presses.

Backup Rings Cluster

The ultimate extrusion-resistance device for extreme pressures.

  • Installation & Function: While backup rings do not possess independent sealing functionality, they are indispensable when used in conjunction with primary O-rings. They physically block the clearance gap, preventing the softer main elastomer seal from extruding and tearing under high-pressure spikes.

  • Application: Standard practice in high-pressure hydraulic systems, valves, and pumps where operating pressures exceed the extrusion limits of standard elastomers.

Wiper/Dust Seals Cluster

Your system’s first line of external defense.

  • Installation & Function: Positioned on the external side of the hydraulic cylinder, wiper seals actively scrape away dust, moisture, and abrasive debris during the rod’s retraction stroke.

  • Application: Crucial for construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and any application operating in harsh, heavily contaminated environments to protect internal components from premature wear.

Wear Rings/Guide Bands Cluster

Designed for mechanical support rather than fluid sealing.

  • Installation & Function: Engineered to absorb intense radial forces acting on the piston or rod. They guide the alignment of moving parts, effectively preventing catastrophic direct metal-to-metal friction within the cylinder body.

  • Application: Used in long-stroke cylinders or systems subjected to heavy side-loading, ensuring smooth operation and protecting the expensive metal surfaces of the cylinder.

Piston Seals

Piston seals are designed to ensure complete internal fluid containment.

  • Installation & Function: Installed directly on the piston, this seal prevents pressurized fluid from bypassing the piston across the cylinder chambers. This complete barrier is what guarantees optimal pressure build-up and efficient power transmission.

  • Application: Widely used in both single-acting and double-acting hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders where maximum force output is required.
